Who we supported

The average age of people who registered with us in Q3 was 47.

84% of people living in Scotland live in the 15 most populated council areas.

How people felt

We received positive feedback from people we support, and we also received suggestions for how we could improve.

People shared that they felt Future Pathways listened to, understood and valued them and that they felt able to trust the service.

“I feel supported and listened to, which I can say I have not experienced from any other service.”

What people gained

Feedback we received indicated that most people feel that they are able to access the support that is right for them. This quarter, people accessed a range of different types of support from our Delivery Partners. This included creative therapies, trauma support work and advocacy services.

People also accessed our Discretionary Fund to help with a range of different needs. This included helping them to feel safer and more comfortable at home, and to address immediate needs.

“Future Pathways has given me the opportunity to pursue goals that I wouldn’t have had the means to do otherwise, and opened up a new world to me.”

What difference we made

Many people felt that Future Pathways’ support had made a positive impact in their lives, such as feeling more hopeful and more confident in themselves. Some felt that they had a greater sense of purpose, and felt more able to move on from their past.

“I feel a lot more confident in myself and capable of putting myself towards anything I want to in life, even in spite of difficult circumstances.”
