10 Years: key figures

10 Years
Looking back over 10 Years of Future Pathways, we’re highlighting our key facts and figures, including our work with people we support, Delivery Partners, Peer Support and more.
These figures are up until 31 May 2026.
Who can get support?

You can get support from Future Pathways if the abuse or neglect happened:

  • in a care setting
  • in Scotland
  • when you were under 18

You also need to be over 18 now. Find out more about who can get support from Future Pathways.

About our support

You might know what support you are looking for or you might need some help to find out. Everyone is different. Watch our short animation to find out more about who we support and how we can help.

We’ve worked with 149 Delivery Partners since 2016.
Delivery Partners

Future Pathways commissions a range of services to support people. We work with a network of Delivery Partners across Scotland, the UK and beyond. Through this, we can facilitate access to support that is trauma-informed, person-centred and outcomes-focused.

Accessing records

Voices for a Better Future is a lived experience group. They created information and guidance to help anyone who is trying to access records from when they were in care as a child.

Accessing Records in Scotland is a report which brings together findings about what it is like for people with care experience to access their records. Researched and written by Aberdeen City Council, the Champions Board of West Dunbartonshire Council, The City of Edinburgh Council, Future Pathways, Social Work Scotland and Who Cares? Scotland.

61 people have come along to our Peer Support sessions and workshops since June 2025.
21 people have been part of Voices for a Better Future since the lived experience group launched in 2022.
Peer Support

Peer Support is a way of connecting with people who have gone through similar things in life. People can come together to socialise, learn and support each other. Peer Support at Future Pathways is open to anyone who is registered with the service, including people who are on our waitlist.

Voices for a Better Future

Voices for a Better Future is a lived experience group. Every member is registered with Future Pathways. The group works with staff at Future Pathways and at other services on different projects to improve services, raise awareness and make a difference.
